Texas Creek is considered by “those who know” to be the All Terrain Vehicle Capital of Colorado. Play Dirty ATV Tours starts out at 6400 ft. elevation, in the beautiful Arkansas River valley, also known as the Bighorn Sheep Canyon. We are located on Highway 50, between the spectacular Canon City Royal Gorge Bridge and the turn of the century historic town of Salida, Colorado. COME RIDE THE ROCKIES WITH US
Minutes after leaving Texas Creek Junction, the mountain trails lead us 3000 ft. above the valley, where the views are absolutely awesome. Traces of pioneer life are all around you. We have many paths and trails to choose from and each is very different. Your personal interest and riding ability will determine which adventure awaits you. Play Dirty ATV Tours is the ONLY 4-wheeler company in the region that operates under special permit from the BLM to guide on the beautiful, protected Federal lands of Texas Creek.
Breaks
Play Dirty ATV tours provides stops throughout our tours, with time for photos and time to enjoy the Colorado mountains. The first break is roughly a half hour into the tour, which allows for adventure seekers and nature lovers both get their fill. We do stops for history, wild life & picture taking throughout the tour. Our guides get the best shot, for great looking vacation Facebook updates.
Pace of tours/speed
Great for beginners
We provide tours that are great for all ages. Great for beginners and those that have never ridden in the mountains before. We demonstrate how to safely operate each machine you will ride, and how to trail ride safely.
Adventure seekers
We love to ATV and love to show people a great time on these beautiful Colorado trails. We will slow down at hazards to help all members have a safe time on tour. We offer tour options for everyone, if you are a more advanced rider, consider booking our 2 or 3 hour advanced tours, or really take your time in the mountains and book for 4 or 6 hours!
Due to insurance liability and manufacturer recommendation, our A.T.V.’s are single passenger vehicles. 16 yrs. of age can have their own 350cc with a parent or legal guardian along on the tour. Children up to age 15 can ride with parent in a Side x Side. All tours are guided by qualified, ATV Safety Institute Certified guides, all gear provided for your safety and enjoyment. We feature Yamaha 350cc with automatic transmissions & Yamaha Rhino Side x Side with automatic transmission, we also have the Polaris 2 seater 570 for a small upcharge fee (call for quote). All tour packages include riding instruction, training course, helmet and goggles. We suggest that you wear long pants and shoes suitable for outdoor activity.
We do accept walk-ins, but strongly advise reservations to insure you get the day and time slot that fits perfectly into your vacation.
Rides available 7 days a week, all year long. Winter months, weather permitting.
